Retrotec Field Calibration Plate

Now you can calibrate your own equipment without having to send in your meter to the manufacturer!

This special calibration plate is a precisely manufactured aluminum plate that mounts to the square flange at the end of the connector duct. This plate has a very precisely sized opening in it that when the fan is turned on and a pressure of 25 Pa is achieved, should result in an airflow reading of exactly 100 cfm25.

ACM Appendix RC, section RC 2.2 states, “The measurement of air flows during duct leakage testing shall have an accuracy of ±3% of measured flow using digital gauges.” Therefore, if the flow reading using the calibration plate is between 97 and 103 cfm25, then the Duc-Tester is within the specified accuracy range. Simple and NO SHIPPING to the manufacturer!
